Ars docendi 21/2024

Ars docendi 21/2024 Premessa – Vorwort – Foreword [Adami, Korn]

Working together as a team:

This is the very first Ars docendi that Matthias Korn and I have really created together. I would like to sincerely thank Mr Korn for this.

This time, we have a very big focus for you, which we want to continue in the March issue: What does training and, in some cases, further training for Latin and Greek teachers in Europe currently look like? And how are Latin and Greek lessons understood and conceptualised in Italy, for example? What do the reports from individual colleagues, for which we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks, tell us? What does this also tell us about the status of our subjects? And what could we learn from each other? We guarantee that reading the reports will give you a few wow effects and highly interesting insights.

In addition to this focus, we would like to present articles on the following topics: Vocabulary apps, still current principles of Roman law (for use in the classroom), the presentation of a new university School of Medieval and Neo-Latin Studies, a review of an Erasmus biography and the presentation of an interactive website on interdisciplinary Latin teaching.
